The Balsillie School congratulates Keith Hipel on his recent appointment as an officer of the Order of Canada.
Dr. Hipel was recognized “for his extensive contributions to the field of environmental engineering and for his leadership within multiple academic and professional institutions.”
Keith Hipel is a professor in the Department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo, a fellow at the Balsillie School of International Affairs and a senior fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation.
